Terms of Service

Last updated: draft — replace with your launch date once reviewed.

This is starter placeholder text, not reviewed by a lawyer. Replace before accepting real payments.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for activity under your account. You may not share your login credentials or use another person's account without permission.

2. Content you create

You retain ownership of the music you compose on Mowjera. By publishing a score to the marketplace, you grant buyers the license rights described on that score's listing (Indie, Commercial, or Exclusive), and you confirm you have the rights to publish that content (including any imported samples, MIDI, or third-party material).

3. Marketplace licenses

License purchases are final once granted, except where required by law. An "Exclusive" license transfers exclusive rights and delists the score from further sale — see the marketplace listing for the exact terms of each tier.

4. Payments

Paid licenses and subscriptions are processed via Stripe. Mowjera takes a percentage of marketplace sales as described in the pricing page; the remainder is paid to the composer.

5. Prohibited use

You may not upload content you don't have the rights to, use the service to infringe on others' intellectual property, or attempt to abuse, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the platform beyond what's permitted by its open export formats.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

7. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.

9. Contact
